UNESCO laureate, Aremu emerges head of African Climate Change Council

UNESCO Laureate, Prof. Bashiru Aremu, has been appointed Chairman, Board of Trustees and Chief Patron of Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNAccc).

This was contained in a statement yesterday by Comrade Bieni Emenike, his media aide.

UNAccc is an official partner of the United Nations, and a global CEO-led organisation of more than 200 leading businesses and partners working together to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world.

โ€œWe commend Prof. Bashiru Aremu for a well-deserved appointment, while also applauding his role in ensuring the establishment of UNAccc Headquarters for the African continent with 57 Nations.

Aremuโ€™s appointment letter, which was signed by the Global Founder/President of UNAccc, Prof. Rajat Sharma, said: โ€œWarmest congratulations on your appointment as UNAccc Chairman of the Board for Africa and Head of UNAccc Africa Headquarters.โ€
