A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Ministry of Energy and the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy was approved by the Saudi Shura Council in order to strengthen cooperation in the fields of electricity, renewable energy, and clean hydrogen.
The MoU was approved during the council’s 22nd regular session, which was held on Tuesday and presided over by Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al Salmi, its deputy speaker.

The council also approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indonesia to advance bilateral energy cooperation as well as a second MoU with the UK to advance bilateral financial services development cooperation.
