The Environment Agency (EA) has issued a flood warning for residents in south Oxford who live near the River Thames asking them to prepare for flooding due to rising river levels.
The EA advised residents in the alert area, which includes both villages, to take precautions such as shutting off their gas, water, and electricity.

Five more flood warnings have been issued for Oxford.
People are also encouraged to move their possessions, family, pets, and car to higher ground during a flood danger.
Oxford City Council has also closed the towpath between Fiddler’s Island, Port Meadow, and Botley Road due to flooding.
